An old-fashioned drive in, John's has been an Outer Banks staple for over 40 years. We love their shakes, and their Dolphin (Mahi) Boat sandwich is legendary. Well worth the drive!!

Milepost 4.5, Beach Road

The original OBX tiki bar and the best place to grab a cold beer (or other beverage of choice) while you gaze out over the Atlantic. One of the few places on the OBX with oceanfront dining.

Originally opened on the Outer Banks by a couple of fishermen as a pre-fishing breakfast stop, Sam & Omie's maintains its seaside flavor more than 70 years later. A great place for breakfast!

Created by a dynamic duo of siblings born and raised on the Outer Banks, Keyz brings the first, authentic New Zealand style ice cream to Nags Head.

New Zealand style is fresh fruit blended with ice cream. And, it is fantastic!

Located upstairs at Miller’s restaurant, the Waterfront Sunset Bar is the only place we’ve found that rivals the sunset views from Sound Decision. If you must leave the house at sunset, this is the place we recommend. Fully open to the sound, the large windows offer open air dining, allowing you to feel the coastal breezes and some of the best views in Nags Head.

Located in Kill Devil Hills, Noosa Beach Grille is a local favorite for fresh, locally-sourced seafood as well as innovative cuisine, craft cocktails and more.

Adopting its name from the sleepy coastal surf town located in Queensland, Noosa pays homage to the owners’ Aussie roots. (and, check out Noosa Scoops ice cream shop located next door)

Swells’a is one of the best local craft breweries on the Outer Banks. Highly recommended!
